Nokhshi Katha is a Bangladesh-based saree and apparel shop with a Bengali-first online shopping experience. The ecommerce storefront brings product discovery, ordering, customer support and store operations together in one place.
The public runtime identifies PHP 8.2. The session and CSRF behavior is consistent with a Laravel backend. The storefront loads HTML, CSS and JavaScript with Bootstrap and jQuery assets.
The catalogue is organised into half-silk, cotton, Jamdani, Katan, Georgette, Linen and Silk saree categories. Homepage category shortcuts, promotional banners, deal collections and product grids help customers browse, with a search field for product discovery. Product pages bring together Bengali product names, product imagery, product codes, listed and sale prices, review ratings and quantity selection. Shoppers can add items to the cart, order directly, or contact the shop by phone or WhatsApp.
The checkout collects customer name, phone number and delivery address, lets shoppers select a delivery area and view delivery charges, and presents Cash on Delivery. Order confirmation and status updates are supported through SMS and email notifications. The site also includes a floating messaging shortcut and product-level WhatsApp enquiry.
Customers can open the account area and use the Order Track page with a phone number and invoice ID. Shipping, return, terms-of-service and privacy information is available from the storefront.
Store-management workflows include bulk product import and export, along with streamlined product-price updates to help maintain a changing catalogue.
SEO foundations include search-friendly category and product URLs, page titles and meta descriptions, canonical tags, robots.txt and an automatically generated XML sitemap. A product-feed generation workflow supports external shopping and catalog channels. Marketing measurement includes Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel integrations for traffic and campaign attribution.
The five visuals in this case study are newly generated illustrative mockups based on the live storefront's appearance and page flows. They show the storefront, category browsing, product detail, checkout and order tracking across desktop and mobile devices; they are portfolio mockups, not screenshots of a redesigned or newly deployed interface.
This entry focuses on Nokhshi Katha's ecommerce website and shopping functionality. It is separate from the existing Nokhshi Katha logo and apparel brand-identity project also featured in the Make Anything Simple portfolio.
