Getting started
Open BIG-VYOR from the Chrome toolbar. Pick a color or enter HEX, RGB or HSL. Use the tabs for palettes, contrast, gradients, page scans and saved collections. Open Workspace for more room.
Picking and automatic copying
Choose your output format, then click Pick color on a normal HTTPS webpage. The popup closes after the picker starts; selecting a color copies its value and saves it in recent history. Press Escape to cancel. On Chrome internal pages or the Chrome Web Store, open Workspace and pick there instead. If automatic copying fails, reopen BIG-VYOR and use Copy beside the selected color.
Page scans
Launch the extension on the webpage you want to scan, then choose Scan. Chrome internal pages and the Chrome Web Store cannot be scanned. Scanning checks supported rendered text, background and border styles, not image pixels or hidden cross-origin content. Select viewport or rendered-page scope, and use Cancel if needed.
Palettes and manual backup
Save palettes with names and collections. Export JSON to keep a local backup, then import that file to add its palettes. CSS variable import and CSS or SVG export are also available. Cloud backup and sync are disabled; no MAS, Google or Apple account is required.
Images, contrast and gradients
Use More to extract sampled colors from local PNG, JPEG or WebP images. Images are processed locally. Contrast checks evaluate the selected pair, not the entire page. Color-vision previews are approximations. Gradients support two to eight color stops and copyable CSS.
